Robert is a trial attorney representing individuals and families in civil and criminal cases. We routinely handle catastrophic injury, wrongful death cases against insurance companies and larger corporations as well as criminal cases ranging from citations to murder cases.

With over twenty years of experience, attorney Robert T. Homlar has earned a reputation based on years of hard work and success in the practice of law and public service. He founded his law practice based in Augusta Georgia in 2016 after spending a decade as a prosecutor and has over twenty years of practice in the courtroom gaining extensive jury trial experience. He has represented and been adverse to some of the largest corporations in the United States on behalf of Georgia, Tennessee, and South Carolina companies and individuals. Most of his cases involve complex litigation in a wide variety of matters including wrongful death, criminal defense, serious bodily injury, whistleblower, products liability, trucking accidents, fraud, business torts, and class actions in both federal and state courts throughout the United States. Homlar has been appointed to serve as Special Counsel by Georgia Governor Bryan Kemp for litigation.

The Marietta, Georgia native obtained his undergraduate degree in Economics from the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland in 1999 and a law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2002.

Service and community are two of Robert’s core values. He integrated himself into his community through coaching lacrosse and the Rotary Club of Augusta, as well as his involvement in several groups serving the underprivileged.

Currently, Robert, his wife Kelly, and his three children reside in Augusta, Georgia.

As an avid outdoorsman, Robert enjoys elk, dove, turkey and deer hunting.
